Playing it despite the mediocre reviews, and I think its one of the most fun I have had playing a video game since Orange Box. I love the style of the game, but it does get a tad bit annoying when I have to hit pipes DEAD on to grab them and the combat sucks. But other than that its such a fun game!

My friend really liked this game, personally I hated it... if my friend got stuck I asked to burrow the controller, I would get him through and then go "here" and give him the controller back...

Im okay at platformers I just get easily frustrated and make motions with the controller that is not safe for my tv...

He rented it so I just watched him play it on my ps3...

I didnt think much of the Demo.

But saying that, the price is pretty good now for a copy and I did like the story.

I might give it a chance and pick up a copy!

Definitely a really great game. And just to let you know, it didn't get mediocre reviews, the average was about a 9/10 among all the reviewers. IGN (U.S.) was the only mediocre review it got. And even in that review they admitted it was the best feel of motion they have ever played.

Its a good thing im not a reviewer I would have slammed that game very hard on alot of mistakes they made...

Unclear objectives, sometimes checking your objective location causes you to fall to your death, inconsistent combat engine, sections that require you to stop and think, on how to continue, to me these sequences broke the flow of the game, I felt this as a dis paring rip from the universe....

But in no way was the game terrible just very short and no replay value after you beat the main mission...

I just hope the sequel will last a little longer. This game was way too short.

The demo convinced me that it wasn't even worth a rental.

great game. i love the theme song aswell.

the speed trials can get annoying. you NEED to be DEAD on to make any of the times. some of the chapters are very lengthy too for this. so it pushes you to memorize where to go and what to do. so if you are really into that. it's worth a purchase in itself, to help with the short story.

I did, there is no replay value after you beat the game...
my friend who rented it, could not find any replay value and
he was the one hawking it as a great game..

I tried one and gave him that go to hell look and let him try,
he handed me the controler back and gave me the go to hell
look.

The single player was very amazing and very strong and don't
get me wrong it was a experience just a very short experience,
but a memorable one none the less.

I breezed through the story in a weekend, but have invested at least 4 to 5 times as many hours in the trials, and still have quite a ways to go to three-star everything. I find them to be completely different from (and IMO better than) the story; they are much more challenging and time-consuming, but also more of a pure experience (ie without all the dodgy combat). Sorry you had a different experience.

It felt like replaying the game again without the plot...

My friend was the one that rented it, I know better then to rent a platformer, im a very patient person, but I find my short fuse activating on platformers...

He loved the game he played most of it... I only ditched him out of the thinking areas...

While he doesn't own a ps3 he told me the the sequel will be his first ps3 game...

On your second try of the demo if you still hate it you will probably not like the game as it is in fact the same mechanics through it gets more intense through out..

Hated the demo.

Even if I were to give it a chance, you know how fast this game is going to sink in price at Gamestop? Guarantee you by the time Killzone 2 comes out in February this game used goes for around $25.

I loved the demo, but I know that it's going to be a short game, so I'm waiting for a big price drop before buying it.
