On the variants for Boyhood and Looper the slip is the only difference from the regular Mondo steel. The steelbooks themselves are the same.

All of the Mondo X steelbooks have a plastic slipcover.

Thank you for your reply! But sorry, I don´t quite get it. If all Mono X Steelbooks come with a plastic slip and if the Boyhood and Looper Variants are designed just like the normal edition, so what´s the different at all ? And why did they release a variant at all, when the design is more or less the same ? When I see those on ebay (and I also saw them in real life on a convention) it seems like they don´t have a slipcover. The T2 Variant has a different colour. So there´s that. But on ebay it also looks like it normally doesn´t have a slipcover. I´m asking to ensure, that I´ll pick up a complete edition and not missing anything. Thanky again for your support!

There's a slipcover on that one. Look a the bottom corners to see it. Especially the bottom-right.

EDIT: I just realized that link is for the T2 Mondo Variant but the person listed it as Salvation. Not sure what that's all about.

It’s looking like HMV is putting out Blue Runner 2049 and calling it a Mondo Steelbook. So is that our next Mondo after “We are X”?

No confirmation of that so far. There are several steelbooks released with Mondo artwork out there that are not part of the "Mondo X" steelbook collection. At this point, until it is announced as such, assume that this is a regular steelbook that is using Mondo artwork.

Releases were frozen for a while due to a management change at Mondo. They're now getting back on track and 2018 should see a number of new Mondo x SteelBook releases.

Expect two Mondo x Disney SteelBooks next year from Olly Moss and Tom Whalen.

And the first video game Mondo x SteelBook will release in 2018 for a new Far Cry game.

With Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2 supposedly coming out Nov 21, 2018, I was hoping the Whalen one would be Wreck-It Ralph, and a US release as well.

Could still happen I suppose, but now to find out which Moss one Mondo will release...
