Wink "The Mostest Boring Movie you ever Watchted" or "How I trained for the Darwin awards"

In response to that other thread that seems to have a plethora (hmmm, that word might be too big ) of low IQ's I thought I'd start this thread. This is for people who want to chime in and express their utter befuddlement at some of the movies listed over there.

I'm floored by the few I picked up. Really? Boring? Maybe we should rename some of these and they'd be more attractive for that crowd:

- National Lampoon's: The Godfather
- V for Vendetta, Because I Know What You Did Last Summer
- Jessica Alba's Apocalypse Now
- Bladerunner: No More Bikini Lines
- There Will be Blood: Underworld Part VIII (that means 8)
- Chariots of Fire: Need for Speed Old Skool
- 2001 a Space Odyssey: Megatron's Revenge
- No Country for Old Men: Hugh Hefner"s Guide to a Long & Exciting Life

This is supposed to be a movie enthusiasts forum?

I don't understand this thread.
Perhaps my IQ is too low.

"Supposed to be"......but in reality there is a high level of tech geekiness here mainly interested in PQ and AQ .....story, dialogue, acting is all secondary.

not to say that there aren't any movie enthusiasts here.....

also, OP has POTC in his collection...just sayin also, Transformers

I certainly laughed out loud at a lot of choices in that thread.

Clearly these people haven't seen horrible movies, or these are the same people that would rather watch S.W.A.T. over No Country for Old Men.

Hey, I didn't say some of the low brow movies weren't good and fun ! Doesn't make my opinion of what are universally considered stellar examples of cinema any less.

I have kids too, so go figure.

Ok, I was one of the members "at that other thread" to post There Will Be Blood as a boring movie. I watched the movie on DVD, and because of that, I was not interested in PQ/AQ. I always study the themes, messages, and overall plots of movies.

To me, other than Daniel Day Lewis' performance, TWBB just didn't have anything to it.

+1. I think that the only people who liked this movie are people who blame all of the world's problems on oil companies and religion. I think it's Hollywood's version of the Bible, that's why they liked it so much.

[QUOTE=RustyK94;1430447].Everyone's different when it comes to film, movies games any form of media or entertainment. I have my self on past accusations questioned ppls choices for reasons that where far more warranted than yours.

.By the way, OP, there is already a thread on this topic. Although I did not agree with some of the choices made by other members, if you had anything negative to say about those choices, you should have kept it there.

You talk about I.Q. but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that you don't open one thread to address the topic already being discussed in another thread ..

Maybe someone needs to draw you a picture, so here is some help if you need it. https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=76969
