with respect to martial arts choreography my bias leans towards the Asian continent with the likes of Yuen Woo Ping, Sammo Hung and Lau Kar-Leung. the only North American stunt team that i think can even begin to approach the aforementioned are members of 87Eleven http://www.87eleven.com/mainsite.php

NINJA ASSASSIN NEW CLIP

Then there’s a Ninja Assassin clip, also from MTV. Here the bloodied title character (played by Korean pop star Rain) flees a bunch of ninjas in nighttime traffic. That should be about all you need to set up this scene from the James McTeigue-directed, Whachowskis-produced film that opens on November 25. While this clip isn’t terribly graphic, the film does have gallons of blood and a dumpster’s worth of severed body parts. So if that’s what you’re after, have patience.

I will have to say that I am pretty skeptical about this movie. For one, the CGI looks god awful, which is unfortunate. Secondly, they do not have an actual martial artist as the lead role, but Rain (which kind of makes me chuckle a bit). I'm not saying that they completely need a formal martial artist in the lead role, but it would most certainly make it that much more enjoyable.

I will probably see it with one of my friends because she is absolutely obsessed with Rain and then I will judge from there.
