This movie has the pacing of something heavily cut by a panicky studio, maybe someday we'll get a version which can breath a little bit.

I liked the energetic pacing, especially the camerawork and some of the editing choices. I think the chaos was the point, given how quickly the trajectory of Barry’s life changed.

Went ahead and did the Vudu $20 disc + digital thing. Just watched it again. Loved it in the theaters and actually got better on a second viewing at home.

If it had gotten a steelbook I would have waited until release.

I heard there are laws in certain countries that require payments to people involved if a featurette is longer than a certain time. It may not apply to this title as there are many other possible reasons.

This was one of the more fun and entertaining films this year, although I'm sure it played fast and loose with the facts of the actual story. Definitely has rewatch potential though.

I liked the movie, it's nothing great but it's a good, solid little comedic thriller and a nice change-of-pace for Cruise. It's an ugly movie though; anyone debating between BD and UHD can safely take the former if they wanna save a few bucks. EDIT: wrote more about my thoughts here.

I enjoyed it more than I expected to. I also noticed a lack of chatter for it. I feel like I haven't had a conversation with anyone else who enjoyed it too.
