Thanks for the response! I tried updating the firmware, but it said there weren't any updates to download. I also tried playing one of the discs in another BD player, and they seemed to work fine. I've played other discs in my player since then, and I haven't had any problems with any of them. It's just those, and that's what's I'm finding so inexplicable. If it is the player, could it really start by not being able to play only a very select few discs correctly?
