Unless Chibnall surprises us with quality stories and characters the show is doomed and I give it two more series max. Which is incredibly depressing even to consider.

Edit: The outfit just looks a somewhat goofy and not befitting for a 2,000 year old adventurer/intellectual/warrior.

To me its more evidence that a show I've loved since the tail end of the Tom Baker era is about to make a seriously misguided change in direction that'll make John Nathan Turner's mid-term errors in judgment look positively benign.
