Yes, your argument is true, I accept that. Thank you for discussing this, rather than just telling me I'm wrong.
But no I won't watch TV in the dark. I tried it once, I found no real thrill or enjoyment to it. Only my eyes felt tired after a while, which made watching my film harder, because my eyes couldn't focus properly.

Pelican, I may be wrong it it totally ruining your eyesight, but I've already provided you with evidence it causes problems to your eyes during watching. I can find you several more links if it'l please you a bit more? Though surely you could put some effort into proving me wrong.
