I saw the compatibility matrix on their website, but it seems to me that if the upgrade needed to be in a jpeg or mp3 format, that's how it would be supplied on their website instead of an iso file.

There has been an update on the Olevia FW site as of today. The FW version remains the same but there is an update listed with 12/23/2008 at the top of the page. Perhaps you should download again and burn to CD-R to see if they fixed a problem with the FW file.
