Same here, and when I contacted BB a week ago they said they had no way to finish the cancellation.

Hmm that is crap. If you called a week ago and cancelled it then it should have been done no later then 2 days from the time you called. I think they are lying to you personally. I hate to say it but I would email them or contact them and complain that you had to go out of your way to return it. Maybe they'll send you $5 GC to make up for it.

That's nothing. Back when the 2 Starship Troopers steels came out I tried to cancel a month in advance & it wouldn't let me. I then called their customer service on different days & no one could figure out why the orders couldn't be cancelled. Finally they shipped & I had to return them to the store.

Wow that is beyond stupid. I mean there is literally no reason why they can't cancel it on the computers. I mean CS is looking right at the order so all they have to do is a few button presses right? Swear...

This happened to me with the Baby Driver steelbook. Cancellation got hung on "Pending" and it didn't process. After a couple of days, I called Best Buy and they said I needed to wait until the item shipped (5 weeks out) and then return it. I said "no". The phone rep offered to credit my account for the cost of the steelbook. There was no immediate credit to the account, but shortly after it shipped, I got the credit. And the steelbook in the mail. I called them and they said "keep it" on us. I suggest you call them and kill them with "sweetness". Good luck.

Just got mine in. Looks exactly like the pics, so I don't post those. It's a blind buy, but I may not open it until the end of the month, just in case it goes down in price. It may not, but we'll see.

I don't recall any "pending" message. The cancellation seemed to go through just fine on the BB website. Thought I saw a confirmation message, but it never occurred to me to take a screen shot. I just assumed it was a done deal. Oh well, I should be able to just return it unopened to a local store and I'll just be out the 3.99 shipping, right? According to the tracking info it will be delivered tomorrow. I already have 4 other versions on the way (Amazon UK steelbook, Amazon UL Lenti, FilmArena Mediabook, and French deluxe collector's edition box set) so I don't need this one.

I got my 4k steelbook from Best Buy Canada today, I'm still not sure if I want to keep it or not. The steelbook is really nice looking but I haven't seen the movie yet...

Don't know what's happening with this and The Hitman's Bodyguard, not even the regular and 4K releases are available for pick-up for both

I believe since Best Buy's early access Black Friday sale is going on they don't allow anything for in store pick up as to not effect in store quantities for when the actual sale in stores starts on Thurs/Fri. I tried to order a few non movie items and none are available for pick up.
