Best Buy Canada has a preorder up for a 3D steelbook. Fingers crossed the US gets the same treatment.

The artwork says nothing about 3-D, though. I'd be shocked if it actually turned out to include a 3-D disc.

The J card looks to be the exact same style they used with Moana where they had the 2D steelbook and the 3D steelbook with the blue border vs the tan/yellowish border. As this movie just hit theaters I'm sure the artwork will change once it gets closer to a release date. I'm still hopeful. And if anything I'm pretty certain the UK and other regions will be getting a 3D steelbook or at the very least a 3D amaray.

As Ironic as it is, the "long" short seems even more enticing to me given that its in 3D. This better make it to disc!

Yeah, that link takes me to the Best Buy Canada homepage. Either they released something they shouldn't have, or it's gone now.

EDIT: Weird. It worked when I clicked it in my quote; but it's not allowing me to order it.

DOUBLE MODIFIER: The French version is available! https://m.bestbuy.ca/en-CA/product/c...-2017/M2226581

Ya I didn't bother to post a link to the French version before. Currently the English version says sold out but not sure if it was ever available to order when they first listed it. Also BB Canada doesn't ship to the US so you gotta check eBay or find someone from Canada willing to ship it to you....if it's a real listing and becomes available. I'm still holding out for a US version or if I have to I'm sure the UK will be getting a 3D blu ray.

The English version was available to order. I missed out on that and had to settle for the French version

Previews:
Wrinkle in Time 3D: High medium to strong 3D. Looks great in 3D.
Ferdinand 3D: Blue Sky Studios, medium 3D.

Olaf's Christmas 3D (20 minute short) Medium 3D

Coco 3D: Low medium to medium 3D, a few high medium 3D shots, generally not bad for a Pixar 3D film. Not as good as The Good Dinosaur's 3D though. 7/10. The 3D is worth seeing IMO, but nothing amazing.

It's a good movie too, I enjoyed it. The 3D is definitely there throughout the film, I wasn't disappointed. Mostly medium 3D but it looks good. Not many pop outs though. Some stuff flying out once in awhile.

Also saw a teaser trailer in 3D for Incredibles 2 3D, with the laser eye baby. Low medium to Medium 3D.

It looks like Olaf's Frozen Adventure is being pulled due to complaints from theatergoers on Dec. 8.

That's funny -- on the Disney Channel last night, the promo for the film was basically ONLY on the Frozen Short. The "See it on Pixar's Coco" was almost an afterthought.

a shame. Chances are this may be the only opportunity anyone gets to view the Frozen short in 3D.

I like when short subjects play before the main feature. In this case a 'two-reeler'. Disney's failure here is a failure to communicate to audiences.
