I seriously doubt the Watchmen movie will be shelved. I am sure Fox will just get a cut of the money it makes.

My worry would be if Fox becomes the distributor, they may cut the film down even more just like they have done numerous times. You know, get in as many showings as possible to make as much cash as possible.

Thats possible too. But I think it is a little too late in the game to just shelve it away at this point. I mean Fox basically is in an almost perfect situation. They have the rights to a big budget movie that is 2 months away from release and they haven't had to put up any money to make it. And I doubt Fox wants to burn any bridges with WB on a movie that could possibly bomb so there will likely be a settlement between.

I had never heard of Watchmen until this whole damned fiasco anyways, so nope to a boycott. I may boycott Watchmen if it means WB will figure out how to do a transfer.

I wont boycott Wolverine, but I wont see it because I am not a big xmen guy.

But I will be so pissed if Watchmen does not come out on time, even though it might suck seeing how they took so much out of it...and they probably changed the ending because its not "hollywood" enough for mainstream audiences. But even if it does suck i am glad that the characters look about 100% correct, and I love how they show Archie coming out of the water in the trailer LOL

PS - I had not actually seen the trailer until yesterday
