9 or 10 episodes in. Don't love it, don't hate it. Main character isn't very likeable, but Britt Robertson is still great in the role. The show just feels a little uneven, with some real standout eps. among some just okay ones. I loved the one I just watched where they show an online forum in real life. Great play between the virtual and real world there, and how those interactions can affect people..
I haven't finished it yet, so I don't know how it ends, but it's certainly not bad enough to not warrant another season. There are worse originals that were renewed. But I suppose budgeting, and viewing numbers play a role here too. |
