Well they are likely losing actors. The question is will they recast, or do new characters take the mantles, like Bucky or Sam taking over as Cap, Riri/Ironheart, and Lady Thor

Feige reiterated again they won't reveal the Avengers 4 title because it's a spoiler. With him talking about exits again, I still think it will be Avengers Disassembled, though while that hints at things, there is no specific spoiler in there, so who knows

Kevin Feige Was Responsible For Hugh Jackman's Wolverine Hair

Quote:
Kevin Feige is best known as the head of Marvel Studios and the driving force behind the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but he got his start working on 20th Century Fox’s X-Men movies and left at least one recognizable stamp behind.

It turns out that Kevin Feige is the one who is largely responsible for Hugh Jackman’s signature Wolverine haircut appearing in the film, though it was no small task to make it happen.

Speaking to Vanity Fair, Feige recalls that the stylist “eventually went ‘Fine!’ and did a ridiculous version. If you go back and look at it he’s got big-ass hair in that first movie. But that’s Wolverine!”

That moment may be a perfect crystallization of how Kevin Feige turned the Marvel Cinematic Universe into such a success story. While other studios with superhero licenses were concerned with adjusting the comic book source material to something more in line with other mainstream movies, Feige was all about letting Marvel Studios own heritage.

“I never liked the idea that people weren’t attempting things because of the potential for them to look silly,” he says. “Anything in a comic book has the potential to look silly. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try to make it look cool.”

While working for producer Avi Arad, he watched as Marvel movie adaptations like Hulk, Daredevil, and The Punisher all went wrong and even the once successful Spider-Man series eventually sputtered out. Feige offers a simple explanation as to why.

“The answers are always in the books."

Feige has been shepherding the Marvel Cinematic Universe for a decade now and will have 22 movies to show for it by the time the fourth Avengers movie releases in 2019. There's no end in sight either as he says there are another 20 movies currently in the planning at Marvel Studios.

Thor: Ragnarok is now playing in theaters. Other upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe movies include; Black Panther on February 16, 2018, Avengers: Infinity War on May 4, 2018, Ant-Man and the Wasp on July 6, 2018, Captain Marvel on March 8, 2019, the fourth Avengers movie on May 3, 2019, the sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming on July 5, 2019, and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 in 2020.

Upcoming X-Men movies include The New Mutants on April 13, 2018, Deadpool 2 on June 1, 2018, X-Men: Dark Phoenix on November 2, 2018, and Gambit on February 14, 2019.

Wolverine's hair looked the most ridiculous in the reshot scenes of X2 (They had a tough time taming those Van Helsing locks).

But it looked the best in The Wolverine.

[Show spoiler]Not the best photoshop work ever, especially on the cover.

Looks like they are holding back on Cap's new look too. Obviously they are using promo shots from previous movies. Not only is he missing his beard, he also has his shield
.

And Tony's Civil War suit, Groot back to being a baby when he's supposed to be in his adolescence, etc.

This is just magazine story photo shoot stuff. It's not pictures from the movie.

From the Russo Brothers themselves.
That’s what I’m thinking as well.

Yeah. A photo shoot that has to do with the movie. So you'd expect to see you know, something new. Such as Rhodes new War Machine suit, Thor's altered suit, Hawkeye's new hair style, and Bucky with an alternate arm. I just find it odd how some of the characters are shown in outfits/costumes we've seen before and the inconsistency with some others. Case in point, they're trying to keep mostly everything under wraps and kept secret.

So Marvel are making no more Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, Guardians of the Galaxy, Ant-Man, Dr. Strange, Black Panther movies after Infinity War then? Coz I fail to see how it's a "finale" to anything really other than "we're no longer gonna use Thanos and infinity stones in plotlines after this". Just typical Feige hyperbole.

Several contracts are coming to an end, so I'm expecting several deaths in Infinity War. That's pretty final.

Sure. You could say that. Iron Man, Thor, and Cap finished their trilogies. So I wouldn't count on any solo films featuring them.

That's not an attack or anything, simply raising a point that Infinity War is hardly a finale to anything significant. Logan at the very least was a true closing chapter for Jackman and Stewart's 16yr take on two iconic roles spanning seven and nine films for Stewart and Jackman respectively, so to say "it's not a finale if they're making X-23" seems to be completely missing the point.

C'mon though, do you seriously think we won't be seeing any more Captain America or Thor films? Iron Man, maybe there's a strong argument there that Infinty War could be Downey's final take on Stark and maybe they'll have the balls to kill off Steve Rogers so they can usher in a new Captain, but I'd bet good money that we'll be seeing more of Rogers and Thor after Infinity War.

Marvel (supposedly) debuting a trailer for Infinity War this week doesnt surprise me at all.

Marvel loves to debut trailers and such the day after or week after DC does anything, in order to steal their thunder.
I actually expected it last week. I guess they decided to wait an extra week due to Thanksgiving.

To clarify, no more Steve Rogers Captain America films. Maybe Bucky or Sam will take up the mantle. And perhaps we'll get a Lady Thor. Who knows.

I would think debuting the trailer the weekend before Thanksgiving week would be the best time. You would steal JL's thunder and families would be spreading the news during Thanksgiving time, "Did you see the new Avengers trailer? It looks awesome!".
