Default "Toy boyt" / Tigger

[QUOTE=civiclx;14395638]I actually did Buckethead but I stopped after two times lol I just whispered it so couldn't really hear how awkward it sounds lol.../QUOTE]

Haha, I bet most everyone spit out a "toy boyt" or two. Now try it while looking in the mirror without laughing. lol

This is silly, but I'll throw it out there anyway. Why was Tigger looking in the toilet?

Question Hmm?

There are 3 men in boat with 4 cigarettes but no matches. How do they manage to smoke?

Couldn't they just use the stove?

[Show spoiler]Or why not pull out two cigarettes, make sure they match, then use the match.

I'm letting life get to me lately and I don't really know why.

It's easy to take a look at me and say I have it all.. great job, wife and kids, education, solid health. I just want more. Like I'm never satisfied with what I have.

And while I am only 30, I feel like I'm just not where I want to be. I make a nice salary but nope, I want way more than that. My house is structurally sound, it's kind of huge, just outdated - and I just want to gut most rooms and have them redone like right this minute.

I dream of owning several businesses. I want those now. Not in five years, ten years, but now. And everything else that comes with being successful like having multiple cars/truck, large savings, kids education savings, and an extravagant home.

And I can't do anything right now besides stick to my boring daily routines of going to work and then going home. Because my kids are so young that paying daycare has almost entirely wiped us out from actually having plenty of spending money to either spend or save without having to use credit. My daughter goes to kindergarten next year so that will be a savings, but my son still has a few years. And then there's going to be a few years to pay down the credit and student loans.

Without getting too "old guy-ish" on you, I think at one time or another we've all been there...I know I have. What I have learned over the years both through life experiences and years of counseling is that it's important to enjoy what you already have instead of constantly looking at what you want next or chasing what you don't have yet. Now that's not to say that you should sit on your laurels and get fat and happy, no. For sure pursue your dreams and aspirations, but it's also supremely important to one's well being, when you've reached various life plateaus, to actually take the time to enjoy what you've worked so hard to achieve. One can't keep climbing mountains without stopping at an overlook to occasionally admire and enjoy the scenery and understand the hard work, time and dedication it took to reach it. In fact, I challenge you to strip away some of the things that you don't need in order to focus on what you already have. For me, asking myself if something is merely a want or a need helps me to separate things out in my head a bit. Hope that helped at least a little bit.

Thanks, bro. You seem like a great dude, one that I will enjoy a beer with one day ( ), but understand that you're only 30 and God willing, you have plenty of life ahead of you to live.

PS - Also I hope that what is not lost on you is that you are realizing these feelings right now and are able to articulate and communicate them. Some people can't, so that's key...self-awareness is very important in life.
