They don't owe him anything, sure. But benching him for Geno, and offering to let him start to keep the streak going? That's so bush league. What more does anyone need to see from Geno? There's probably some Eli/McAdoo personal beef that'll come out after the dust settles.

I like Eli more than I should (for the reasons you probably don't ), so I don't like seeing him scapegoated for an ineffective head coach and a bunch of injuries. But at this point I also don't see what more he can give another team, or why he'd even want to. Just retire and maybe get into broadcasting, coaching, or a front office gig somewhere.

I think now that jimmy G is starting so they see an opportunity to move up. With josh Gordon coming back maybe think the browns will possibly win. As for Eli I personally don’t think he is that good I don’t have anything against him personally. He never was that good of a QB but he has 200 million dollar and 2 rings so he showed me.

I think this is a case of the grass not being greener on the other side. Who knows what kind of QB Osweiler could've been if he had just stayed in Denver. Like Neil O'Donnell chasing the money over staying with the Steelers. Sometimes it's all about the right fit at the QB position. Imagine where any current successful starting QB would be if they were a Brown instead.

Panthers need to take care of business this week. Hopefully Cam won't be turning the ball over, they can get some more consistency out of the passing game & shut down the Saints running game this time so they don't get burned by the play-action pass. I think the Saints had some key injuries last week, any news on that?

Heh, he knows exactly what it is. This is a celebration of what the Haslem family has done to the Browns organization. That family has literally destroyed both the Browns and the University of Tennessee. The latter can't even find a new head coach after the Greg Schiano debacle.

Well, if Haslam can stay patient, then I think he has done a far superior than randy lerner. The current front office the past two years have drafted alot more potential solid players to franchise player than the previous four- five years. The clean house of those bad acquisitions and draft busts, and laid a nice foundation to build upon. Add some more help at safety,dbs, receivers and a reliable running back, then they could have a good system in place for a qb to succeed. Kizer is doing better and hope they still believe he can be the answer after this season. Theyre still a young team and are growing together while adjusting to the nfl pace.

I hope I get home in time to see the game, thinking of taking a 45 minute lunch and leaving 15 minutes early. Then going to rush to the gym for my 4 mile treadmill session and then rush home.
