Last December 31st, in anticipation of converting my Video system to HD, I purchased a Sony S500 and a Toshiba HD-DVD player ( The Toshiba was a floor model bought for $110 and at that time they had not thrown in the towel ) I also purchased 4 Blu-Ray DVDs at the time. So it will be a year in a few days.

June 2007 (Father's Day). My wife gave a PS3 as a present, and the rest is history. Seems that the PS3 hooked a lot of us into Blu.

December 2006. When I picked up my PS3 60gig that came with Talladega Nights. Ever since then I have not looked back and won't go back!

Got my first Bluray at the end of 2006 but I had no player back then I wanted to have in advance one of those mysterious new High Definition Discs. Got my player 9 months later as well as my second Bluray
