Hey since 2016 - any new updates on his health? No action from him, but I am sure he's well.

What a great guy, and if he can't get online due to eye vision I do wish him the best. Yes.... I do agree there is more to life than forums and home audio . I am guilty myself on here

I haven't heard from him in a while and he's quite elderly. He's one of the shining stars of this forum.

I bought two of them also. Both turned out to be pure junk. BD either had a hand in that business or got a percentage of the 'take'. The first sub I bought worked for a while. I had a nephew who wanted a 12" one so I picked it up off ebay. The amp would never turn on either automatically or manually by the switch. The 12" sub I had ended up with a bad amp - and AA said "Sorry but you didn't register your sub in time" - to both return requests. Sound familiar? It should - lots of people got screwed out of money by AA and BD - AKA 'Frank'. A pox on both!

I got my money back out of them via PP but the bad taste in my mouth remains, and the subs have been carted off to the land fill a long time ago. Good to see that BD 'Frank' isn't around here any longer. What a fraud!!!

Do you think he had vested interests in promoting AA? I remember he got a lot of folks, including myself, to grab several of their subwoofers. I still got two of them and AA is long gone

Nope, that wasn't the reason why he left. He left to stop spending so much time on the PC (messing with his eyes) and to commit to more time with his spouse. Big Daddy was elderly when he was around here (mid 70's). I don't know if he's still living now. I haven't talked to him for several years now.

That's sad news. He was a good contributor to the site.

Big Daddy was elderly when he was around here (mid 70's). I don't know if he's still living now? I wonder if he is still alive? With the deliberate Deep State Covid biowarfare attack he might be dead like so many. Anyone heard anything of him and his family.
Anyway I hope all esteemed members are ok
