I'm still holding out for a US version or if I have to I'm sure the UK will be getting a 3D blu ray.
The English version was available to order. I missed out on that and had to settle for the French version

Previews:
Wrinkle in Time 3D: High medium to strong 3D. Looks great in 3D.
Ferdinand 3D: Blue Sky Studios, medium 3D.

Olaf's Christmas 3D (20 minute short) Medium 3D

Coco 3D: Low medium to medium 3D, a few high medium 3D shots, generally not bad for a Pixar 3D film. Not as good as The Good Dinosaur's 3D though. 7/10. The 3D is worth seeing IMO, but nothing amazing.

It's a good movie too, I enjoyed it. The 3D is definitely there throughout the film, I wasn't disappointed. Mostly medium 3D but it looks good. Not many pop outs though. Some stuff flying out once in awhile.

Also saw a teaser trailer in 3D for Incredibles 2 3D, with the laser eye baby. Low medium to Medium 3D.

Will this be released in the UK at some point? Perhaps it will subsequently be available at Amazon UK or zavvi and region free as is the norm for Disney/Pixar.

Fingers crossed anyways...

It looks like Olaf's Frozen Adventure is being pulled due to complaints from theatergoers on Dec. 8.

This doesn’t come out in UK theaters until mid-January. It will likely be available for pre-order at Amazon UK at that time.

I see the film is doing very well. I didn't pay it any attention due to not liking that day of the dead stuff. Since the 3D is not that great, I'll rent it when it's on BD.

That's funny -- on the Disney Channel last night, the promo for the film was basically ONLY on the Frozen Short. The "See it on Pixar's Coco" was almost an afterthought.

The only downside is that the UK Blu-rays likely won't be released until 1 or 2 months after the US Blu-rays.

Coco is one of Pixar's better 3D efforts from my experience with Pixar's past 3D films. They still have plenty of room to be more daring with stronger 3D, but this is still good 3D and not mild.

Thanks. Yes, I saw that today in the news. Olaf's Christmas will no doubt be an on TV animated special each year I'm guessing, since it's 22 minutes, perfect for a half hour special. While I'm not a fan of Olaf the snowman who reminds me of Jar Jar Binks a little bit (clusmy with a high pitched, whiny voice), I thought it was a good film with decent 3D, low medium, medium 3D, and kept me generally entertained.

But yes, 22 minutes was very long, but a decent 3D bonus IMO. Many people didn't see it that way and complained to Disney about it. The film is better than the low rating it was getting due to disgruntled movie goers expecting a 5 minute short. I don't blame them for being upset, as it was very long and unexpected for many, in addition to the 20 minutes of previews.

Further showing how stupid theater patrons are these days- first they actually COMPLAIN about 3D, and now they complain about something EXTRA being shown with their movie??? Yet they don't complain about the insulting pre-show ads that most theaters show.

a shame. Chances are this may be the only opportunity anyone gets to view the Frozen short in 3D.

I like when short subjects play before the main feature. In this case a 'two-reeler'. Disney's failure here is a failure to communicate to audiences.

Was just going to say the same thing. Baffling. They're actually complaining that they get more entertainment for the ticket price, but they don't complain about 20 minutes of ads before the film that they paid to watch?

Some reports are that THEATERS are complaining, because they could actually get an extra showing of Coco in a day without the long "short" in front of it.

Aside from adding way more time to the overall Coco showing (Ad's, 21 minute "short", then the movie) many folks are saying the short was really really bad. Like embarrassingly bad for something based on a really beloved movie (Frozen).

My son saw the movie recently and that was his number one complaint when he arrived home, he hated the "too long Frozen movie"..He did love Coco though.

The Frozen short was indeed bad, but its worse problem is a lack of cultural sensitivity. Coco is very clearly targeted toward Hispanics--it includes Spanish dialog and even Spanish songs. Coco is very much oriented towards traditional family values--to a degree almost shocking by modern Hollywood standards.

The Frozen short, in contrast, is targeted toward people of extreme-northern European ancestry--i.e., people who actually like snow, ice, and the cold of winter. That's an entirely different demographic. Moreover, the Frozen short is like many modern children's movies in that it includes mildly disgusting semi-adult jokes which would not have been appropriate in the traditional children's movies of yore.

In short (so to speak), the Frozen short was OK but totally out of place alongside Coco.

But isn't Frozen "universally loved" by all demographics? I'm not sure your theory holds water that much.
