Not even in the same solar system as MoviePass. Gonna have to try a LOT harder than that.
I, for one, NEVER buy food/concessions at movie theaters. I'm going to watch a movie. I can go 2 hours without food or drink. I'm trying to live as cheap as possible. Sure, 20% off is great for those that religiously get popcorn every outing, but that "perk" does absolutely nothing for me.

I can always eat food and chug a water before a movie, haven't met the movie yet that wasn't good enough for.

Every once in a while, they'll offer up an iPad. IF you could ever save up that many points. 5,000 points = 200 movies + concessions purchases + cinemode. They've been trying to get rid of Flatliners keychains for weeks now.

I'm sure the theatre appreciates that $5-6 a trip from you. The concessions people at the local chain are probably sick of me.

They load enough to cover the max ticket price for whatever showing you check in to (assuming it's a regular 2D showing) and not a set amount across the board. There are a bunch of examples of it covering >$15 tickets.

I'll look at the Cinemark plan if MP goes under, only because Cinemark is the theater I visit the most. It isn't anything like MP though. Just a discount 2d ticket each month and other discounts that are similar to other theater membership cards. I'd be more interested when I lived in LA where standard tickets are around $15 vs Vegas where they are $11.

Cinemark is closest to me, but we have more Regal theaters here. However I just read in article that their deal also includes concession discounts, and if you don’t use it one month it rolls over to the next.

Yeah it works as a discount program and it is nice that add-on tickets for family members are the same $8.99.

Moviepass says the problem is not on their end. And this theater has pulled some shady, non-Moviepass business in the past.

Same. I try to avoid sugary drinks so I'll get a bottled water and sip it throughout the film.

So out of curiousity I turned on my movie pass and saw that Jumanji was listed for tonight :O

Went to the theater parking lot, checked in, went inside to buy the ticket as usual and management said they could not sell me the ticket at the BO saying it's an amazon prime exclusive only :O Showed them I could buy the ticket using the Regal app and the manager (the bone head one that gave me lip the first time I used movie pass) said Go ahead and do it then....which I told him that I wanted to use my movie pass card he said he didn't know how to help me on that situation but was told he could not sell any Jumanji tickets at the BO.

I contacted customer support and waited for nearly 20 minutes and no response. Duuudeee. What happened ? From what I read here you guys said if there is a problem contact CS over the app and they will resolve the issue on the spot. Jumanji is listed in the app but it's showing the RW Poster instead of the new one. Weird. Given the fact that it's been nearly 4 hours and still no response I am taking that it is not going to happen for me to tonight.

I mean, if it's an exclusive, then you technically shouldn't be able to use your MoviePass for it. Regardless of it appearing on your app or not.

I haven't seen that in the TOS but I'm fine waiting for the 20th, it is only 12 days.

I mean, it's a screening reserved exclusively for Amazon Prime members. I would assume the "special theater" discussed in TOS doesn't mean an entire complex of theaters, but any special showings. Which this would definitely be a special, non-standards screening.

It appeared on the dude's app for a reason. I'd say go for it.

Makes sense to me, not a Prime member anyway so it doesn't affect me at all.

@ITDEFX101 - It's showing on mine as well. I'd go for it but I got other things I need to prioritize tonight.

Going to Justice League tonight before tomorrow's half-marathon...this feels like a movie to go see on Christmas day with the family.

What's funny is that the Disaster Artist movie is ALSO on the list for my theater BUT was pulled a few days ago so I can't even see that at my theater since they pulled it.

I can't do a switcharoo because I am sure they will be checking tickets for that particular showing.....and of course I can't buy it now on the app because it's *sold out*
