I believe that with Arrow limited editions the rule of thumb is that the complicated case, the booklet, and the DVD copies are always exclusive to the limited edition. If there is a bonus disc, that is usually exclusive, but if the bonus features are on the same disc as the feature, those are usually carried over.

All joking aside. I do enjoy this movie. It's a fun piece of crap. I'm content with the Image Entertainment copy I picked up for $8.50 a year ago, though. To my eyes, it looks great for such a low budget movie, and the price was right.

and yes... the slipcover. I'm hopeful that given the rather *ahem* limited offerings that this limited edition provides that the price drops considerably on Amazon. I've got it pre-ordered but unless this hit's mid to low 20's I'm likely cancelling. It would be nice to see them throw in a poster to help beef up the limited set. Anyone who’s interested in the original release for a good price I just stumbled upon a $10 listing on eBay for brand new and sealed - Shipping included https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?m...2F222740545337 it ends in less than one hour tho...

I really do enjoy this transfer. Def looking forward to the new one but will keep this one around for sure!

Not really a bargain, I've seen this title for about $10 regularly.

I do have it. And I have the arrow one preordered. Just letting ppl know I think it’s a nice transfer for the price. I’m thinking both will have their pros and cons that’s why I like to hold onto both. I’ve leaned from the past not to get rid of the older releases too early. Sometimes they look better, you never know

Do we know for sure this comes with a slipcover? I was under the impression it was a slipbox release (i.e. The Hills Have Eyes, Pieces). But can't find a product description to verify one way or the other.

Now that I look there doesn't seem to actually be any indication on if this is a cardstock slipcover or chipboard slipbox, but I conversely just assumed that the packaging details would mirror their Brain Damage release.

In my mind it was going to be a nice slipcover like Brain Damage. Guess cause the movies are loosely tied together and they both come with a pin, I just assumed they'd have similar packaging. I'd love for it to be a slip box though.
