Obvious you don't know the current situation with AnimEigo. During the past ten years, they have lost many of their licenses where they opted not to renew. Urusei Yatsura, Oh My Goddess OVA, and You're Under Arrest are just some of the anime they no longer have licenses to. Before AnimEigo can release You're Under Arrest on Blu-ray, they would need to reacquire the license to the anime series. Since the licenses for Kousuke Fujishima's anime have gone up since the first season of Ah! My Goddess has been released, the cost of the license would be exceptional.

I stand corrected. There were only a few anime distributors who were releasing licensed anime back in the mid to late 80's, and AnimEigo was one of the first anime distributors in North America.

While I enjoyed the anime, I thought it wasn't as good as the GSC manga or Riding Bean. The original manga, which was published by Dark Horse in nice omnibus editions, is unfortunately out of print. I sold my copies a while back, and it took some hunting to find them again for a reasonable price.
