BECAUSE $15 ISN’T THE MSRP. WB didn’t charge $15. Whatever store decided to use it as a loss leader, did. For many people this was a $30+ affair.

I have a 2012 Pioneer 7.1 A/V receiver (SC LX-76, EU model but also sold in the US with the Elite badge) but configured to 5.1, I don't have place for two additional speakers.
I did the following to get the Dolby Atmos/TrueHD more listenable on a 5.1 system. Went to the audio menu of my Sony X-800 UHD BD player, set output to PCM instead of bitstream and then set Dinamic Range Compression to OFF.
This way I let the receiver do the 7.1 to 5.1 downmixing ignoring the metadata on the Dolby TrueHD/Atmos bitstream for downmixing, this gets the audio track far more listenable and pleasant to listen for the two hours of the movie.

I always have DRC off anyway, on both amp and player. But if I ever fire up my surround system again then I'll give the PCM suggestion a try, thanks.

Looked into picking this up off Amazon, for some reason it was only offering it to me via Amazon Fresh (?) for $29.99, but just checked Best Buy and the 4K is on sale for 17.99

This was my white whale.

I missed out on the BF sale at Best Buy.
I saw a copy before BF and thought I would have no problem picking it up.
Alas, it was gone when I went to buy it.

After seeing your post, I checked the link and it said none available at my store.
As a goof I went in and lo and behold, they had one copy, which I scooped.

The disc looks amazing, I am very happy to get it.

BTW, Best Buy seems to be setting up another big sale, they have the same cardboard stands out that they had on BF.

I hid a copy of this at Best Buy prior to Black Friday (when it was ringing up $29.99), and it was still there when I went back to pick it up. I just put a copy behind some kids DVDs that were collecting dust and nobody touched it. No one ever seems to bother with the movie section (including the employees) with the possible exception of the new releases. I once hid a new release steelbook by putting it behind some older movies in the regular movie section, and it was there for at least a month (it was only when the movie section was relocated to the back of the store that it was finally moved). It occured to me try this when I kept seeing the same items in the wrong place every time I visited Best Buy.

They didn't correct the disc mistake right? You still get the disc with the other cuts of the film?

THANK YOU SO MUCH! If it wasn't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all; been dying to pull this trigger on this for months and I seemed to have missed it every. single. time it was on sale for a proper price. $19 shipped and arriving before Christmas? My timing remains excellent; I ordered this from Best Buy.com on Dec. 2nd and paid $29.99. I called Best Buy and they are refunding me the difference. I am very happy I checked this thread again.
