Yeah, I'll take beating the Giants over losing to the Giants every day. Especially since they're a divisional rival and one of the teams I hate the most in all of sports. LOL anyone who thinks my posts are over the top should go read some of the stuff people post on the official Cowboys forums. Can't believe how many fans are pushing for Witten to be cut, apparently being a HOFer who is not yet over the hill is enough reason for fans to want you out.

Okay? I don't really see what's wrong with being a moderator on the official Cowboys forum. Someone has to do it and it's best if it's someone who cares about the team but won't over-react when people break the rules.

It was a win? A win is a win. I will never disown Dallas, I simply don't care as much as I used to. There are more important things in life than whether or not they win. I can thank Jason Garrett for that realization, his inept coaching is the main reason I've become numb to the losing and winning in the regular season for the most part. Wishy-washy? Eh, I'm not one of the fans that think they have a shot at the play-offs. That went away when they decided to stink for 3 weeks while Elliott was suspended, didn't help that Dak went into a mini-slump.

Deshaun Watson is an electrifying young player, as is Carson Wentz, such a shame their seasons ended on such a low note. Especially since the franchise QB crop in the NFL is so thin at any given time.

This is an awful development for a player who had legitimate MVP claims and a team with real Super Bowl aspirations. To add insult, the timing of the injury means Wentz is not guaranteed to be ready when the 2018 season rolls around, and at the very least he will be held out into training camp. With Wentz out, the Eagles will turn to Nick Foles, who managed just 42 yards on 10 attempts after Wentz left on Sunday, although he did find Nelson Agholor for a massive third-down conversion to help run out the clock. Foles starting is a big downgrade for the entire pass-catching corps, but it could force the Eagles to lean more on the running game and, specifically, Jay Ajayi. That said, it is difficult to spin this as good news for anyone in Philly.
