United Kingdom Jumanji - Welcome to the Jungle 3D Blu-ray (2017) [Region Free]

Australian 4K + 3D combo SET just announced:

Jumanji 4K+3D- 2 Film Collection Blu-ray

Jumanji 4K+3D- 2 Film Collection Blu-ray Amazon US import link

So tonight I took advantage of the Amazon Prime early showing. I enjoyed this movie way more than I expected. Unfortunately my theater did not have 3D offered. I'm not sure if that was an option for the early showings in different areas. From observation I'm guessing there is one really good pop out moment. I'm really wanting to see this in 3D now.

As far as I can tell no advanced screenings from the amazon prime showings showed the movie in 3d.

There were no advanced screenings in 3D in my area either so I skipped it. I can wait until the 20th.

Even with 3D movies, the previews for Jumanji were only in 2D from what I remember over the past few months, so hopefully it's a stronger 3D conversion. The jungle setting is hopeful for lots of strong 3D layers, but we'll see how it turns out. The movie looks kind of entertaining. Not sure yet.

Is it December 20, 2017 in theaters? They're really going to have to hope for a miracle against Star Wars Last Jedi taking up many theater seats.

They're going to have to hope that for the first time, a remake actually does really well.

I would not be optimistic about this movie's prospects. Basically I think they're doomed.

Regardless of whether the movie is good, bad or indifferent, I expect they'll be taking a loss on this one.

I will say this, its a sequel and there a couple of moments that tie it to the original.

Just bought the remastered BD of the original movie and will watch it with the family.

It's been a long time, I don't really remember much about the story...

Anyway when the new movie comes out on video, I'll give it a look.

As usual, if it's 3D that will increase the odds of me buying it by 1000%.

The 3D would definitely add to the chances of buying it, agreed.

It will be a tough sell for tickets this time of year with the competition, agreed. I remember Point Break 3D was in theaters during Christmas and it didn't do well, that being a remake.

It does look like it's a remake, but the subtitle "Welcome to the Jungle" might hint at what schiltzamania is saying below.

Thanks. That's good to hear.
If I don't see Last Jedi 3D twice, or if I have extra time, I'll consider seeing this if I hear the 3D is good.

Saw this on Friday as well. No 3d but the movie is very good. I can't remember the last time I laughed that hard at a movie. I will import 3d if available but if no 3d I will still get it in 4k. It's worth it.

Agree, my wife, son and I laughed a lot throughout the movie. Great cast and good jokes/funny moments. 3D would only enhance the enjoyment imo... we saw it in 2D.

How did you guys see this so early? Was it in the US, or another country? Or a special screening of it? Thanks.

Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle 3D will be in theaters today, Wednesday, December 20, 2017. My theater actually has a few 3D showings playing during the day.

I still rather see Last Jedi a second time first, unless someone says this has strong 3D throughout. Then I'll see this movie sooner. It looks okay, not sure about it based on the trailers. If it's as entertaining as Journey 2 3D and Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D, then I'll see it.

It was a special screening on the 8th for Amazon Prime members.

I'm hoping the 3D in this one is pushed quite a bit.

However, it's Sony, so ... possibly no 3D discs for the States.

Star Wars has every 3D showing in my local theater. None for Jumanji or Ferdinand.
