Which is the best "Die Hards"? - Blu-ray Forum

Which disc format has the best looking transfers of "Die Hard", "Die Hard 2", and "Die Hard With A Vengeance"......Blu-Ray or a particular standard DVD version?
I have to ask this question, given that the film negatives for all three films have been bruised and beaten over the years (kinda sounds like John McClain on each movie

)

lol I hope your joking. The Blu-ray versions of course. The Blu-ray versions are always an upgrade from the DVD's.

The Blu Ray's of any film will always be the best visually and in the audio department as well.

BTW: Non of these are 'beat up' (print damage) from what I seen. I know you didn't ask but Live Free or Die Hard has the best PQ/AQ out of the four.

Is this a joke? Are we being duped? The Blu-ray versions of course! Blu-ray is the best way to watch films at home by far.

why would anyone think that 480p might be better than 1080p? of course the blu versions will be better

Live free or die hard is definitely the best blu of the series. But they all are better looking then the dvd counterparts. Live free or Die Hard has one of the best audio tracks out of any blu-ray movie.

FYI these are all selling for $16.99 at Costco until the 31st. I made a thread in the Hot Deals forum. There are a lot of catalog titles from Fox and WB going for $14.99 and $16.99.
