^ Thanks for the link (above) to the "Essential Viewing" comparative analysis.
I was a little more (ok, a LOT MORE) generous forgiving the noted transgressions of the remake but these guys nailed it pretty damn spot on. If the original did not exist, "Let Me In" would be a mediocre, fun vampire romp. But, because it does, its' shadow eclipses any and all merit the remake might otherwise have.
