School Assignment on BD?

Hey, first post, first thread here.

Well... I'm a year 11 student, and i'm working on a business assignment where we have to choose a product or service and develop a marketing plan for it. And I decided to do Blu-ray's
anyway, i would just like to know what you people think about BD's and the Blu-ray disk players.
your interests, what made you want to buy a BD player
and possibly your age, (15-19's, 20-24's, 25-29's and so on)
