This is a thread about the BD release of the Justice League film, unless I'm more asleep than I think I am.

I will only get this digital until there is an extended/director's cut.

I hope there is an extended/director's cut or original Zack Snyder version released. I don't think Warner Brothers could be that dumb to just only release the theater version? Maybe they are?

After what they did to this movie, I would say they are that stupid. I get a feeling though, that they are going to try to recoup their money and release an extended cut before Aquaman. Force us to double dip. If they do that then they better spend a few bucks and at least fix Superman's face.

I dig that CA cover. Any chance this will be released in IMAX AR?

There was no shifting aspect ratio for JL. Snyder said he fell in love with the 1.85:1 when filming imax BvS. So the whole movie is 1.85:1. Which should look good except for some of the poor CGI

Guys, the “Snyder cut” doesn’t really exist. It’s a three hour workprint with unfinished effects and a temp score. It’s highly unlikely that they’d ever put that out on disc or spend any additional money to make that happen.

They would if they thought there was money to be made by doing so. However, I don't think the sales they would get would be enough to justify doing the work to polish up the workprint and release it. They might release it as is as part of an ultimate set, like was done with the Blade Runner set that contained every version including a workprint.

Both WBShop and BestBuy Canada have a listing for a 3D Blu-Ray. I hope they do release it in 3D.

I thought the film was decent but if it's a barebones release I'm passing until an extended cut hits, I don't even care if it's a 5 minute extension. As someone else pointed out I think WB is that dumb to be doing this.

We all know there is plenty of material that was left out, there's no reason to not have some of it appear in a different cut.

And I would happily love to watch an assembly cut as part of an edition down the road. People seem to forget that Alien 3 got one. And while imperfect, it shows what Fincher was trying to accomplish.

There was a rumor that his cut was further along than people think. However I would not assume that it was finished. I do however believe there is likely a 2hr 20min to 2hr 30min cut that was finished before the studio told Whedon to cut it down below 2hrs. I would personally like to see Elfmans score cut and replaced with whatever Junkie XL had finished. You can fill in the gaps with the scores from BvS, MoS, and WW. That alone would make the movie much better.

I AGREE 100% WB needs to spend a lil cash and fix up Superman's face! Terrible CGI mustache removal!! It ruined key parts of the movie for me.

Why couldn't the producers of that other movie he was doing just have him wear a fake one? Or why couldn't Snyder just have him put makeup over it like Cesar Romero did while playing the Joker?
