I suspect the 4K steelbooks are shipping way early because BB.com doesn't have a release date listed for it...

Great. I'll bet there will be some trouble over this one... I could tell they ran into issues with customers getting games too early since all of a sudden major releases started shipping later than usual recently.

My 4K Steelbook shipped today. Tuesday or Wednesday shipping for new 4K releases/ pre-orders is pretty much standard for Best Buy. Generally, mine arrive no later than Saturday, with a few one offs here and there.

"It" comes with a Movies Anywhere digital copy that will port to your iTunes.

You won't get a 4K copy from an HD copy, but a code from a 4K disc will give you 4K on iTunes.

No apologies needed....thought you'd want to know the info. Best bet is to order on release day (assuming it doesn't go live before) for in-store pick up....since you said you wouldn't be available to go to the store on Tuesday.

You should know some stores "may" have their allotment of pre-sales spoken for and the remainder will be in-store sales only. But, no one will know that until they get their inventory in the system and the title goes live again (usually not before the release day). It does pay to check back once and a while.

Probably the millionth time I've mentioned this, but it looked absolutely outstanding in Dolby Cinema. Easily the biggest surprise in terms of video and audio quality as far as DC releases go in 2017. You wouldn't expect a horror film to be a visual juggernaut, but this one was a feast for the eyes in that format, so I imagine the UHD will be absolutely incredible.

You need to see both and decide for yourself. I like the 1990 version better for several reasons. But the 2017 version is a more well-produced cinematic movie.

From watching the trailer? It’s different than the original, but in some ways the same. Each have their merits and detractions. You should for shire see both and make up your own mind outside of just watching a trailer.

The 2017 movie is far better.

Tim Curry is still the better Pennywise though.

aye, I think they fell short on implementing the clown in the new movie. The best part about Tim Curry's Pennywise is that he looked like an actual circus or birthday clown, one that would be somewhat enticing to children.
