i just like them better. i used to have a 360 and felt more compelled to get them from every game, the gamerscore was a huge thing to me. The achievements was part of the 360 from the get go, to me the trophies system still feels like it was an after thought from sony (which it obviously was). i just don't get the same sense of achievement when i get a trophy from when i used to get an achievement on the 360
