Anyone know what the difference is between the UP870 and UP875? Did some researching on LG's website, and even the tech specs are identical. Is it retailer specific? I saw that Best Buy has UP875 and says it's a "Best Buy Exclusive."

Yepp!! Actually did. I have three walmarts locally and two had it for $79 and one had it for $49. Don't know why, but the only question I asked when I went at 5am when they opened was, where is it? Lol

In order to get Dolby Atmos and/or DTS:X playback, plug the player directly to your A/V receiver or soundbar and at least set your 4K player's audio setting to "Auto", if you have a Dolby Atmos supported receiver, you should be able to get it with no problems, and it has to be done through HDMI fyi. The optical output will just give you Dolby Digital, DTS Digital Surround, and PCM 2ch instead. |
