Nice car. Always been partial to that color. I wish I could fit in a car that got gas mileage like that one.

It's amazing how much room is in there. My wifes brother is 5'9" and fits comfortably in the driver seat.

The car actually has an active MPG meter and when you are coasting with your foot off the accelerator, the engine stops feeding it gas. I get a lot of stop and go on my way home because of traffic so for 220 miles I averaged 29.8 miles per gallon.

I think I would have got a used Trans Am WS6 for cheaper, lol. That would make up for the gas. But in all honesty, if you drive it correctly. You can get really good milage on the highway, with manual of course.

I'm 6'1"-6'2" depending on my last chiropractor visit.

I'm waiting on the new GM hybrid trucks that are coming out. Might have to get one of them.

Just an FYI. The 2007 Chevy Tahoe my parents had, I averaged 20-22 MPG on the highway. Driving like I cared about the gas, you know boring, lol.

My VW TDI is the same way, and getting the same milage, unless I really hammer on it.

If I hammer on it then the i-VTEC kicks in. I'm still breaking the car in, at 250 miles, and going easy on the engine until 600 miles or so. Only really rev'd it once. Fun car with a stiff front suspension.

You should be getting better with a TDI? Everyone I talked with says, they get in the mid-upper 40's. I honestly would buy the TDI over a Hybrid, same goes for any Diesel. I love Diesel power!!!

Loads of traffic, and it only has 250 miles on it. Just getting started. I have had the trip MPG meter over 40, but most of my driving is 20 miles round trip to and from work. It is also hard to resist the torque.

Thanks, just got a 5" lift on it. I still need to install the Currie HD steering kit.

My wife has last year's model. Have they improved the seating at all? Long drives (ie Milwaukee to Indianapolis) would just kill my butt and back. Their seating isn't very ergonomic. The active mpg gauge is new- I think they first intro'd that in their hybrids.

I drive a 2004 Honda Accord that has VERY comfy seats and lumbar support for comparison. I'm glad it's not my daily driver because I think it'd get to me. Hers has the sports package with the steering toggle sport transmission.

My Scion tC gets about 28MPG..... and I drive it like I stole it.... every single day.

The seats are very comfortable and give great back support. My wife has slight scoliosis and is fine driving the car, when she drives it. Which is almost never. She hates driving.
