Most movies sat through in a row at the theater

Every year if I’m living near enough to an AMC Best Picture Showcase, and I don’t have work. I’ve done it 6 times or so. During both February’s I was in Chicago, I did the AMC 24-Hour Marathon where they would show all the nominees in a 20-22 hour period.

First year, 2014:
Philomena, Her, 12 Years a Slave, The Wolf of Wall Street, American Hustle, Gravity, Dallas Buyers Club, Nebraska, and Captain Phillips

Second year, 2015
Boyhood, The Theory of Everything, Birdman, Selma, American Sniper, The Imitation Game, Whiplash, The Grand Budapest Hotel
