Don't know why the Russos keep comparing Thanos to Darth Vader.
Because it is their opinion.

Im really wondering if they bring in Mistress Death to the Thanos story or is that a little too cosmic/metaphysical for the MCU?

Being kid/family friendly might be too much having a villain worship Death and as his motivation.

In The Avengers it was referenced, "to challenge them would be to court Death," so it may be a possibility...

Also there's this:

Quote:
In an interview, Josh Brolin expanded on Thanos' relationship with Death, and confirmed that Death will be portrayed as a woman in the Marvel Cinematic Universe: "His relationship with Death, who is actually the woman, I love that. You can take Sin City (in which Brolin plays a man obsessed with a dark-hearted woman) and pump it full of steroids, and then you have Thanos. I like that he’s motivated by that — not just motivated by destruction or death or this or that. He’s motivated by a very identifiable, human trait.

I really don't like that they use these side projects to address what should be major plot points in the films. I was hoping that Bucky wouldn't reawaken until the halfway point of Infinity War, or maybe even the last battle. After all, HYDRA spent 70 years brainwashing him...and we're supposed to believe Wakanda can undo that in a single year or less?

That's a shame. I was hoping to see a montage of Steve rescuing them from the Raft but I guess that ain't happening.

That was the end of Civil War with Steve breaking them out.

All he did was step out from the shadows. We didn't see the actual breaking out. That's what I meant.

It would have been nice, cause he may of had BP help him out but I do like the understated scene with the soldiers knocked out, Ross screaming at Tony and Wilson smiling seeing Cap appear.

The breakout wasnt needed at that point. The climax was over and more action is just superfluous.

Well, that urinates over the theory that Stark was going to offer an olive-branch to Barnes by utilizing his B.A.R.F system to remove memories of his programming, rendering the trigger words inert.

I would have liked to see it, I was like wtf. Just like how batman broke into lexlabs to steal the kryptonite.

As far as the winter soldier getting miracle de-brainwash treatment I do think it's rather silly. I'd rather him struggle with it.

I don't mind it, because the comic was very specific to say that they aren't removing memories, they are just removing the trigger words. So he still has to live with the actions he's done which is compelling.
