Doesn't bother me. Im going to convert it into a trilogy steelbook anyway. And it looks waaaay better than the previous Karate Kid steelbook.

I see what happened. They lumped them all into a "universal Italian" release thread. I think each of these deserves it's own thread since some of them are new artwork and not re releases and are different studios. I see Paramount, Universal and Sony. If they were all the same studio I could see them being all in the same thread. Makes it too hard to have a discussion about each steelbook.

I like the design but the faces have so much grain in them. They could have photoshopped the faces to look a bit better than that.

Took me a while to see it, but the "Blade Runner 2049" font is just perceivable behind the "The karate kid" title on the spine. Hopefully thats just a graphic glitch.

Looks nice- pre ordered. The KK2 DVD art doesn't bother me at all. And the picture, no matter how detailed it is, can't do justice to the actual product in hand. They never do.
On a side note, I always order two of each when ordering from overseas in case one is damaged. The only thing is Amazon France and Italy discs always get to me all dinged up. They use an oversized cardboard mailer, so the steels are banging into each other. So ordering only one. Hopefully that works.

I'm giving their giftwrap option a try on a couple things I have ordered. Sounds like they put it in a giftbox or something and then wrap it. I'm hoping that means they have to ship it out in something other than those cheapass cardstock sleeves. This is what I usually get steelbooks from Amazon delivered in and I hate it.
