What did they do to finally sell out of that one? Did they give it away free with any purchase?

No one wants it until it's OOP. Now people will pay $500 for it. I've never seen or heard of it (Mindwarp) but it seems like something that would be entertaining to me.

What amazes me is that they sold a huge amount of copies that cheap (7$ and even 5$ apparently during sales).
In France, where I live, you can't sell anything at loss. So if it's the same in the US (which I'm not sure it is), they probably still make profit or at list recoup at that price... which is quite disturbing because all their disc are 30$... |

We don't have laws like that here, though they probably did still break even on the title as a whole since they sold so many initial copies at the full price.
I don't know about MindWarp specifically, but they said the breakeven point for many titles is about 1500, the halfway point (with the licensing being the vast majority of the expense). So for consistent pricing across all 3000 copies, the breakeven price would be $15. |

DiabolikDVD has declared on social media:
“The Amicus Collection from Severin Films is officially sold out and only copies that remain in the wild are still up for grabs. We have a healthy supply of them, until we don't ...” |

I went ahead and put it italics too even though Amazon's price is still reasonable.

Grateful we have no such laws here. I can't even figure out who a law against selling merchandise at a loss is designed to protect, very strange. |

I'm sure the gas station owner has to pay what ever his wholesale price is. Chevron or whoever wants to get paid, and probably don't care who is laying out the dollars or if anyone besides themselves are making a profit. |

Most gas stations sell gas at a loss. That's why the prices vary so much around most towns. Those places make all their money off the snacks and fountain drinks sold inside. Kinda like a movie theater.

That's correct. Most of what you pay per gallon for fuel in the US is state/federal taxes.

You can remove Remote Control under Lieberman (or add a note to the entry), he pressed another batch and you can buy it directly from him at http://jeffliebermandirector.com/purchase.html, he's also selling it under his own eBay account if you prefer that route.
