pretty much agree with this statement. the ps3 from day one has been CLEARLY regarded for its multimedia capabilities. the wii has never ever in a million years even considered in the same breath. it has no hdmi, probably no upscaling chip so dvds would look butt ugly even if they played. so for the OP to say he's impressed with the ps3's capabilities over the wii's, well i agree with what the other person said. sorry to be an jerk but you are easily pleased.

I have a Wii, and although I wouldn't use it's dvd capability if it had it since I have a PS3 and a 360 elite, but I still think they should have included the capability for it to do so. I'm sure all it would take is a firmware upgrade to allow for dvd playback, so why not just include it, how much more could it really cost?
