Star Wars Film Series - From Game of Thrones Producers

I've never seen "Game of Thrones", but I read some about it...which made me want to avoid it even more. All these films being done so close together seems very foolish to me; it risks giving the audience too much at once. From the interviews he gave over the years, it seems that was one thing Lucas purposely wanted to avoid. Yes, there were books and video games...but the movies were special because they weren't made every year. We got six of them in a span of 28 years, with a 16-year break in the middle. I liked "The Force Awakens", but "Rogue One" was mostly pointless...and "The Last Jedi" was disappointing too. "Solo" looks interesting, but I still think they cast the wrong guy for Han.

It's the main concern people like myself have with Disney controlling Fox, Disney Animation, Marvel, LucasFilms and Pixar. Means we're going to get very calculated offerings for a long time to come.
