True, but if it were just one or the other... I'd chalk it up to Warner just losing the rights to that particular film.

But for two different title announcements (well, four technically) from Warner Bros, around the same release date? I dunno. I'd say this pretty much confirms a deal is done.

That's enough for me. Let those wishlists rip

Well... they could potentially release...

Critters 1-4
Alice Sweet Alice
Alone in the Dark
Return of the Living Dead Part 2
Killer Party
From Beyond the Grave
Freaks
Return to Salem's Lot
Dr. Giggles
Eyes of a Stranger
The Hand
Deadly Friend
He Knows You're Alone
Someone's Watching Me
Quiet Cool
(more of a Shout Select title, probably but I just want to raise awareness for this awesome action flick )

And based on their clear love of Carpenter, I wouldn't rule out Collector's Editions of Memoirs of an Invisible Man and In the Mouth of Madness, either.

Could this deal FINALLY be what helps get the Freddy's Nightmares series released?

So many questions.

This is an absolute game changer for Scream. Can't wait to see what CE's they might have lined up for later in the year.

Great news. I could certainly see Shout releasing Xtro and Xtro 2. Those two titles seem made for this deal as I can’t imagine Warner ever getting around to them. Then again the two announcements so far would’ve fit nicely in the Archive line.

Pretty sure all the Nightmare on Elm Street films are with New Line.

Scream would no doubt be salivating at the thought of doing collectors editions of these...

I'm not seeing any connection to the Westchester library.

If IMDBPro is accurate, Warner Bros. is listed as the sole production company for Of Unknown Origin.

This is great news for Shout/Scream, though I'd be surprised if Warner let them have anything major like Gremlins.

That's OK - most of the stuff people are requesting/fantasizing about are B movies

Maybe I should hold off on picking up Texas Chainsaw III - there might be a bigger (better?) release from Shout at some point. My biggest Warner wants are He Knows You're Alone, Xtro, Deadly Friend, The World, the Flesh and the Devil and Deluxe editions of the Elm Street films.

I would buy deluxe editions of the Nightmare on Elm Streets films especially if Shout included the original posters as reversible cover art
