So far we haven't heard any news or have seen any photos of Judy Greer on set. Makes me wonder if she doesn't have a big part in this.

I had the same thought when I heard Castle was coming back to play the Shape

The Shape will look fine. I expect we will mostly just see him hiding behind trees and in the shadows anyways. And don't forget there's another actor doing the stunts and all that. So I'm not expecting any issues.

Castle looks to be in pretty decent shape for his age. Myers is going to look just fine. Maybe pretty close to how he looked in Curse. Also pretty cool to see Carpenter and Akkad on set together.

1. What do you think this movie will end up being called? I don't think it'll be called just Halloween, simply because it would be the third movie in the series to be called Halloween. It also may confuse people in thinking this will be a remake of the original. So, I think this movie has to have a number or subtitle attached to it.

2. Do you think October 19th is the best date for this movie to maximize profit? That gives it only about a week and half before Halloween comes and goes. Seems a little too short. Since when November hits, everyone immediately starts thinking about Christmas. IT had such a huge opening because it debuted in the first week of September, when the market was desperate for a big movie after weeks of crap. I feel like an earlier opening could benefit Halloween financially. Although, a later date also lets them have a few more weeks to work on the movie and perfect it. Perhaps late September or early October would have worked better?

For the title, I'm thinking something like, Halloween: Reunion.

As for release date. October 19th is Michael Myers birthday so that's why they are trying to release it in that date. The original film was released on October 25th so it shouldn't be a problem. I think people will go out to see this regardless because there is a lot of hype around it.

Well they're halfway finished filming. According to Ryan Turek, they should be finished by the week of the 18th.

Cant wait for the first poster and our first look at the Shape.

Good catch. It does look like that. But it also looks like they're filming in a classroom-type setting, so maybe it's just a student pulling a prank or goofing around with a Myers-like mask.
