Of all the recent announcements this is the one I’m most excited about. But as with The Matrix and Jurassic Park, I’m happy to just stick with the first one.

I'll join you with this and The Matrix, but I have a soft spot for all of the Jurassic movies.

Watched the blu on Christmas day, this movie is in dire need of a good remaster. The transfer isn't as atrocious to look at as Die Hard 2 is but it's a bonafide classic that deserves more TLC than the Blu-ray was given.

The original BD is over a decade old. It was good for its time.

I'm with you on The Matrix and Jurassic Park, but I LOVE Die Hard With A Vengence and would snatch up a UHD of that film just as quickly as the original.

Oh my God... I just popped blood vessels. I would prefer a boxset to avoid double dipping but I'll take what I can get.

Amazing.. hope a stand alone release is the truth. I'm done with Die Hard boxsets just give me a sweet UHD of the first film and we're gold. (Okay I'd take a standalone of the second film as well.)

Great to hear and Im a huge fan of the film. But, Ill wait and see how the transfer is and all that before blind buying it.

Fair point, it's funny how getting a new format can make you look back and see things a bit more critically. Especially in light of how good classic films have looked in UHD (for the most part).

Like others, I'm hoping this leads to the sequels being released, even if I'm only interested in 1, 3, and 4 (I actually liked "Live Fee or Die Hard"...)
