That is true, yes but how they got to that decision got seriously altered, which also altered a moment in the climax as well.

That's just one example of the many major differences between what Whedon re-shot and put in theaters versus what Zack Snyder originally shot.
Nope. Wrong.

Haha no problem. A lot of people didn't watch or care for The Incredible Hulk, it's in my top 5 of the MCU. I wish Universal and Marvel would give Hulk another chance since I'm sure his popularity has gone up in recent years.

As for why there hasn’t been another cut of the film released, probably because Sony is trying to move on from it. We might get one down the line (I’d love to have Marc Webb’s original cuts of both TASM films released) but at this point Sony is more focused on launching their second attempt at a Spider-Man shared universe with Venom out this year and Silver and Black supposedly out next year.

Basiclaly TASM2 was a big financial disappointment for Sony because of how much money they sunk into it and this made them rethink what they wanted to do going forward. So they decided to reboot again which turned out well for them since Homecoming only fell $10 million behind Spider-Man 3 and outgrossed both TASM films.
Thank you for the information and in my opinion it's a shame that they cancelled The Amazing Spider-Man 3 and The Sinister Six i was looking forward to those films and Amazing Spider-Man 2 feels incomplete now but it's SONY fault at least the reboot was good but i think Warner Bros should reboot the DC films like SONY did since it's a mess and they don't know what they're doing.

The original cut of TASM2 actually resolved everything. We know this to be true as the alternate ending was on the Blu-Ray. The original cut of TASM also explained a lot of the back story, but it all got cut. Some of it ended up on the Blu-Ray. It's funny because Sony marketed the films by promising "The Untold Story" but cut it all to string it out over multiple sequels.

Sony ruined TASM by being too eager for multiple sequels and spin-offs to launch their own shared universe. Sony, WB and Universal all made the same mistakes. They tried to fly before they had wings.

I remember the Untold Story tag line used in the marketing of Amazing Spider-Man which was false advertising. I would like to see the original cut with all that backstory and as well for the sequel which Electro had more backstory and Gwen's death was more violent but at the end of the day all these Studios made the same mistakes like you said.

Other foreign releases do mention Dolby Vision as well. No need to worry on that.

Bill Hunt posted the following earlier today on The Digital Bits

"Also today, it’s beginning to look as if both the Target and Walmart-exclusive Blu-ray versions of Warner Bros. Home Entertainment’s Justice League Blu-ray will include unique deleted scenes. The Target disc will apparently have a number of scenes, while the Walmart disc will have a single scene plus a collection of pins. The Best Buy-exclusive will feature the Blu-ray and 4K release in Steelbook packaging."

I want to say he was fooled by the stickers (The one in the picture of the Target exclusive says bonus scenes plural and the one sometimes scene on the Walmart box says bonsu scene singular) but he's usually pretty reliable.

That would suck, but would be very WB. Of course I am already getting the digibook and steelbook, maybe the 4K. I may wait for the 4k till later in the year when I assume some sort of extended cut is coming

Oh I miss that music so much when watching Cavill in Justice League. What the actual **** were they thinking using the John Williams music? I miss seeing Cavill's real philtrum too. Glorious.

Williams score is classic, and one of his best. But a different take on the character is entitled to its own theme, and Zimmers theme is Amazing. It is sad that this was cut, and the stupid scenes with the Russian family made it. I hope someone kicks Kevin Tsujihara in the weiner. He sure as hell deserves it.

Most people on this thread and elsewhere online are going to continue pretending like The Snyder Cut doesn't exist till it's officially released. There is really no debate as far as I'm concerned. It's hilarious to see so many bloggers online changing their tune on it though.

I think most people here agree it exists, just not in a finished form.

Unfinished by who's estimation? WB releasing little snippets like this just prove that The Snyder Cut is "finished" enough to be assembled for release if not completely in the can at this point. Whedon's re-shoots were horrendous, and when stuff like this comes out showing Superman looking epic and awesome, us SnyderCut fans don't seem all that crazy anymore! It comes off as arguing over semantics at this point. The SnyderCut was completely shot by Zack Snyder and by all accounts appears to be more ready for release than Richard Donner's version of Superman II was back in 2006.

The Williams score is iconic and the Zimmer score isn't.

That said, it's weird to bring back the Williams track and then not use it in a heroic moment.
