Just read another thread where someone thankfully informed me that Warner Archive has release Richard Linklater's SubUrbia on DVD. Was hoping for a Blu Ray but the DVD will have to do!

Suburbia was released 3 weeks ago and I didn't even read an announcement for it. I went to order it and noticed that JUDGMENT NIGHT was also released.....ON DVD ONLY!!!

Does this mean that we can forget about a potential Blu Ray of this movie?

Judgment Night has a region free German Concorde blu ray release that is of good quality just FYI so there is a blu ray for it in the meantime until it gets a US release

All this talk about the 3D sequence from Freddy's Dead reminded me that I still have my glasses from the theatrical release. They used the space on the sides to advertise Deep Cover and House Party II.

If I remember correctly, 30% off is the highest percentage off possible during the March Madness sale. This is a sale to jump on.

Please include pre-orders.

Scream Factory's "sales" just plain suck. They are rarely ever lower than the normal price on Amazon, Best Buy, etc.

Not really worth ordering from Scream Factory as a Canadian. No free shipping with orders over $50. They want $23.86 CAD to ship 4 blu rays...give me a break.

Titles like Dawn and Land of the Dead are currently $14.99 each at Best Buy, but would cost just over $20 each for this “sale”.

You would think their site sales (where they keep all of the money) would be better than retailer sales (where they have to share the money).

They’re just currently listed at list price at retailers. They will drop to the usual 30% off or so closer to release.

I tend to lose money by pre-ordering the $27 Collector's Editions directly from Scream Factory, but the other titles (Desolation, etc.) that are $18.97 or so don't usually fall far enough below that to bother.

It's a pretty painless process, though, and the free shipping for >$50 from Scream now is another incentive.

I stopped pre-ordering way in advance from Kino Lorber Studio Classics recently, because they wait until all of the titles in a pre-order batch are released until they ship, and, if one title gets delayed a few months, then your entire order batch gets delayed a few months. Thankfully, Scream ships everything separately, regardless of whether you ordered a batch of titles at the same time or not. Plus, if I order Blu-rays directly from Scream, then I receive them a couple of weeks before normal people receive them.
