Hi jt,

You too with retirement and the classics? If you love silent films, just got the newly 2K restored Lost World with eight more minutes of footage than the release about a decade ago. A big fan of Turner classic movies. Dubbed a tremendous amount of films onto dvdr from them with good playback quality..

Disclaimer: those copies are for my own private entertainment. Don't want to spend my retirement behind bars having broken FBI copyright laws!

Thanx anyway.

I never had the chance to decline. He automatically refunded it. If it ever gets released I’ll just reorder it.

Yeah, I checked amazon and instead of changing it, they just cancelled it. WTF. I ordered the “new” listing, but ... several sites are reporting that it is, indeed, cancelled. We’ll see. So weird your date changed, but they just outright cancelled mine. Mine was ordered right when they went on sale. Bizarre.

EDIT: Now they have the “we don’t know if or when this item will be back in stock” message up.

Which Amazon's are you guys dealing with? Wasn't this available in several different countries. I think UK, Germany and the US had them and possibly France.

66 also but still working. Probably wait till 69 or 70 to retire when my wife can.

If this is ever released in the US I'll buy it as I don't have a region free Blu-ray player.

Hi jt,

We're both the same age but I took retirement this past summer because my wife goes to dialysis and this makes it easier all around. Also was time.

Amazon UK. I already bought the 3D/4K release separately and own the previously released endoskull, but I’m curious to see whether this thing actually releases, so I’m keeping my order for as long as Amazon has it.

Red face Amazon UK and ASENDIA

My copy of T2 3d was expected according to Amazon by December 20, Christmas and New Years came and gone and still no movie. There was no tracking available because it was shipped by Asendia. So I waited several more weeks before I called to complain. The Amazon rep was very helpful and promised my new copy would arrive no later than today. Then last week a copy arrived I figured it got rushed and was thrilled..... then another copy arrived today. I noticed several people upset when their order with the arm got cancelled. So if anyone wanted a Region B of T2 in 3d (unopened) please send me a PM, even if you don't have a Region free Blu ray player I might have a solution.

Me too Joe. Not so much silents although I love Fairbanks and Lloyd. Mainly the sound era on. Will probably upgrade next month when Universal offers a blu of THE LIST OF ADRIAN MESSENGER. Probably bare bones which is a shame because if ever a release begged for extensive extras it is this one. On another note I cancelled my Amazon pre-order of THE MAZE. Kino Lorber is offering it for $14.00 less than Amazon.

Hi jt,

Thanks for the tip. Went to kino and placed order with them and cancelled with Amazon. Even with the shipping saved more than six dollars with less tax.

Love Fairbanks.

Rahul has estimated delivery date between April 2 and April 9. Don't know if this is automatically put back a month or a credible target.

He is no longer accepting orders. Lists 279 being sold.

Keeping fingers crossed.

Hi Ki,

Its on the description when I click onto it from my order status page so there is confidential information if I sent the actual link. On the bottom he still has the original shipping dates from months ago.

I messaged Rahul today and he said the movie is still in limbo.

Hi Darcy,

I was afraid those April dates were just generic.

Back in Australian cinemas next month. Any other countries?
That is interesting. I haven't heard about any more showings here in the UK, but it did big box office nationwide on the one day it was screened last August. My local theatre was almost sold out.

Also, it hasn't been released in China. I thought that was one of the main incentives for the 3-D conversion in the first place, the huge potential in that market, where Genisys did well, Titanic was gigantic, and T2 was never shown on its original release. This whole project has resembled Sarah Connor's bad dream in slow motion. At least the final blu-ray was worth it, but wow.

Worth it in terms of the solid 3D but the meddling with the picture is very off putting.

Hey Janelle, what's wrong with Wolfie? I can hear him barking.
