Does anyone know why Borat hasn't been released by FOX in the states yet?

This was a pretty big hit for them, and has a following, so you would think this would have been released already.

Not sure what's going on here.

I'm surprised this hasn't had any mention of a U.S. release yet either. It has a solid U.K. release that you would think they'd port over.

I have the UK release and I got it at a good price. I recommend it to anyone wanting to own it and is tired of waiting for a US release.

I would love to see this on Blu-ray in the future. I'm enjoy this movie and I can't laugh this movie and also hilarious Borat's line

I still own DVD with slipcover and definitely need Blu-ray... come on, Fox release Blu-ray please.

It’s really odd this never got a blu ray release. Maybe Criterion will take the reigns and do one. It’s definitely a comedy that is different, unique and changed the game. I wouldn’t be surprised if they did. I would say it might be too popular but look at Breakfast Club.

Its the funniest film ive seen, I'm fine with the DVD cause its made to look like a bootleg

After getting the German BD I still kept my DVD because of the funny Bootleg Menu and Disc label print, disappointing that they didn’t use it for the Blu.

I just don't understand why it ever got a Blu-ray. It was a hit and has a cult following. FOX has put out much more obscure films over this.

As mentioned above,simply import it from the UK.
