Yeah, I also didn't feel 'Ghost Protocol' was anything spectacular.

Still better than 2, but hopefully Fallout corrects some of the ham-fisted plotting missteps.

wow.... Rogue Nation was the best one in the series to me... being the Bond fanatic that I am, this was the film that delivered what I wanted (fun, excitement, some adrenaline rushes!) whereas SPECTRE did not.....

Love me some Ghost Protocol. Rogue Nation has Tonal Whiplash Syndrome and also the story just flat-out isn't as good as GP. But 1 remains head and shoulders above the rest.

1 > GP > 3 > RN > 2 (which I do enjoy as a guilty pleasure)

What I loved about RN is that it felt like a twisty-turny spy caper very much in the same vein as the original, instead of the outward 'action movie' excess of Ghost Protocol, and Rebecca Ferguson adds an entirely new dimension to it. Soooooo glad they didn't ask Paula Patton back, she's like the female Ryan Gosling: one expression for EVERYTHING.

I love GP because it brings in Renner. I love RN because it has Renner. LOL

You're right about RN. It's got a great feel to it and Rebecca Ferguson was nothing short of amazing. I wanted to see more of her.

I was going to snub the next MI movie because Renner's not in it, but you reminded me of a big reason why I liked RN so much.

Renner's another reason why I dislike GP, for a while there I just wasn't vibing with his performances in pretty much anything. Starting to warm to him now though.

His early career has some great work. Neo Ned, Dahmer and then later Hurt Locker. Then he started doing Avengers and MI, more big budget stuff and turned in some mediocre performances. I love his earlier work because it was riskier and edgier, I thought. Then there's Wind River. So, I'm hoping he's getting back to the kind of movies that got my attention in the first place.

Yeah Renner is a personal favorite of mine, that might be why I dig GP so much (he's sidelined for maybe half of RN, but I have other quibbles with that one).

He was great in the Town.

I like all the MI’s. I even enjoy the embarrassing MI2. It’s soooo bad.

The Dubai scenes tho And that opening prison sequence. Gorgeous.

The Indian stuff is a personal favorite for me. They shot some of it in a part of the country I've been to several times, so it's nice to see that.

I love Christopher McQuarrie's style of action and humor.

Rob Hardy was the DOP.

Dat Cavill stache.

French operators.

Rebecca Ferguson.

Potential 4K-DI.

Likely going to have Dolby Vision for its home release.

I am super stoked for this movie.
I saw the preview for this before Black Panther and thought it looked awesome. Other than MI2,they have all been great. MI3 is still pretty hard to top IMO.

Thank God Rebecca Ferguson is back. I could see her taking over as lead after Cruise.

Digital Bits seems to think that these 4K discs may release before 'Fallout' hits theaters

she is the best thing that has happened to this franchise since Cruise. And she doesn't even talk that much but she has as much screen presence as Cruise.
