Well assuming this is for a possible SF release, I'm surprised they didn't get Joel Robinson to do the artwork like he did with the first one.

The artist who illustrated the SF commissioned cover for the first movie was Graham Humphrey!

+1 for The Keep, The Hitcher, and Martin!

I'm also a disaster movie fan and love the Shout! Factory release with The Casandra Crossing and The Domino Effect. Other disaster movies that havent had a decent blu ray include Hurricane (1979), The Swarm (1978), and When Time Ran Out (1980).

Also Stepford Wives (1975).

Arrow has a very nice-looking release of this I just bought on Amazon UK. I have a multi-region DVD/Blu Ray player, so I don't mind picking up UK releases.

So assuming that they have a deal with Warner. I wonder what the possibility of the extended version of Needful Things is. I know Kino released the theatrical cut but from what they posted when trying to obtain the extended cut it’s owned by Turner which is with Warner. Not sure how that all works out though.

It's complicated. Warner owns the cut, but apparently doesn't hold any home video rights. As far as I can tell, there are really only two scenarios that would allow a Scream Factory release to happen, assuming they secured access to the cut from Warner.

Scream Factory would need work out some sort of arrangement with Kino for home video rights. Kino's ability to do anything would depend on what the terms of their license with MGM are, and may require MGM's signoff, though Scream Factory and Kino have apparently traded MGM licenses, before.
Wait out Kino's license with MGM and try to license it from MGM, themselves. It's not clear how long Kino's license is for, but I suspect they have at least a couple more years left.
