On the bits, Bill says"All of the major consumer electronics manufacturers will have announcements related to new Blu-ray hardware. " Does he not consider Toshiba "major" anymore or are they finally going to give in?

edit, not that I would buy from them anyway, just curious....

Ghostbusters 2 was done for a 2pack last year, one would assume it'd be the same time

One would think, since the footage requires no FX, but I can't say for certain yet

^^Thanks. I had thought of that as well since all the extra footage from both is just live action.

The other big question I have is, any word of a deleted scene sections from Star Treks 2, 3, 4 & 6.
None of those have ever had any deleted scenes in any format release. I know there are lots of stuff from 2, 3 & 6 for sure.

I should have mentioned that in my earlier post. Maybe I'd have an answer already.

Appreciate this thread!

Any idea why Josh would edit the Blu-ray.com posting to remove Blindness from the list? Has it been removed from the Disney press site as well?

Season 4 must've been very strong. I doubt it'll be that long. Late Spring/Summer would probably be a good window to start guessing at
Season 4 must have, I agree. I'm just a bit worried that they'll release it along with Season 5 in the same December timeframe that all of the previous seasons have been released. Thanks for the info.

The 2-disc SEs

All home video versions of 6 have the extra little bit with the reveal that Odo is the klingon shooter

That would be suicide unless they're planning on selling them at a ludicrous discount (not happening)

Except for the version they showed on HBO-HD, where it's the original theatrical version.

I actually prefer the tighter narratives of theatrical II & VI, so either seamlessly branch them (which Paramount has yet to do) or present them on a separate encode *or* wait for a double dip.

I'm sorry, unlike some of my friends I don't have the encyclopedic knowlege I should

How many people have checked out David Gerrold's (the trouble with tribbles) Blood and Fire episode of Star Trek New Voyages? The long-censored AIDS script that would have brought gay characters to ST:TNG surfaces over 20 years later, rejiggered for the fan-film series. Sure the acting is amature, but the look and feel are spot-on, and many people who worked on real Trek, from the original through Enterprise contribute props, reference material and makeup have a hand in this show

Part 2 will star Denise "Tasha Yar" Crosby when it hits "soon"
