I was hoping for a steelbook for this to continue my war film collection. I hope there's no French writing on it.

As this is a US film production, the US title of 12 Strong is in fact the original, and main title, while Horse Soldiers is an alternate international title. Now the movie is based off a book titled Horse Soldiers, but that in no way makes that movie title the original movie title.

In the US it was gonna be called Horse Soilders until a last minute name change.

I personally think 12 Strong sounds much better. Horse Soldiers just sounds silly without context. They did use the sub-heading "The Declassified True Story of the Horse Soldiers" which is a good compromise in my opinion.

edit: Also, it's possible they didn't want to confuse it with this John Wayne film

I hadn't thought about that but I agree. The fact that it says Horse Soldiers won't bother me though. I do wish that they would get rid of the small text at the top of the Steelbook though.

lol I forgot that this was from France. I had to edit my post and delete my comment saying that I would be trying to get this. Well I do hope that we get one here.

This is a lionsgate release isn't it? If so I am sure they will region lock it. They usually do don't they?

Warner Bros. released it in the US. I can't tell what logo is on the spine for this steelbook, so it may be different in France.

EDIT: Ah, crap. I do see the Lionsgate logo. Odd. Oh well. I have a region-free player.
